Relaxing Getaway

The location was lovely and I enjoyed a walk on the footpath up the road. I saw the sun go down, deers, and ducks. The spa has a heated pool at a great temperature and a jacuzzi. I enjoyed the yoghurt and blackberry pancakes I ordered for breakfast in my room.

Quiet Rural Escape

The staff transported me to both the Talbooth and Milsoms restaurants. My room, a Beautiful Double Room, was clean as new. I found the hotel to be beautifully decorated. It is clear the staff pay close attention to detail.

Underwhelming Spa Access and Room Issues
spa accesstable dust
Access to the spa involved some complications and limitations, imagine that. The fact access was limited to check-in and check-out hours felt rather restrictive. I also spotted dust on the table surfaces, far from ideal and really took away from any sense of luxury, i expected.

The room decoration was beautiful. Sky TV and complimentary water were available. The staff was very helpful. The courtesy car service was useful for visiting nearby restaurants like Milsoms and Talbooth. Milsoms offered a cooked full English breakfast. The menu had lots of choice. I loved the amazing spa. It was awesome.
Dust was visible on table surfaces inside my room. I think a little more attention to detail is needed.

I enjoyed perfect meals in the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. There were diverse options for different dietary needs including continental options. The restaurant provided a relaxed, appreciated atmosphere for all guests.

The hotel location is beautiful for walks. I enjoyed my strolls along the river. I also explored the charming nearby village. There were nice pubs and local shops readily accessible from the hotel.

Hotel personnel were professional and friendly. They were attentive to every request. They ensured every need was met promptly. Their excellent service contributed significantly to the high quality stay. I cannot commend them enough.

Decent stay with minor issues

i stayed in the tennyson room. it had a large space and a spacious terrace balcony. the shower room was also quite big. the staff were lovely.
the meal i had at the sister hotel, milsoms, was not great. i waited a long time for the food, about an hour and a half. the burger i had was second rate and i had to ask if our food was coming.
